Description
The Hearthguards represent the epitome of dwarven warfare. Armed with an axe and a shield, the traditional weapons of Mounthaven, they are the last line of defense for the dwarven strongholds. Thus, they rarely engage in combat, but when they do, they exhibit a level of martial skill that is above what most of their enemies have ever witnessed.
With the beginning of the Last War, the Hearthguard were authorized to participate in Mounthaven's o ensive actions. These warriors are becoming a more common sight on the battlefield for this reason.
