Starter Sets – Fire & Sword: Skirmishes and Faction Expansions

Want to start your adventure with Fire & Sword? Starter sets are the best way to jump into the game quickly and efficiently. Each starter includes a ready-to-play Skirmish—a small, fully functional army perfect for your first battles. You can start playing immediately and later expand your forces by purchasing a Skirmish Expansion. This way, you can seamlessly progress to a Regiment level—larger, more complex battles—or simply gain more tactical options for smaller engagements.

Each starter represents a separate faction—with a unique style, strengths, and weaknesses. It also saves time and money, as the sets contain all necessary components: models, unit cards, and army lists, so you don’t need to assemble anything yourself.

If you’re unsure where to start or curious about army compositions, be sure to check the official Army Builder for Fire & Sword!

What’s included in the starter sets?

In the sets available in this category, you’ll find models, banners, pikes/spears/lances, trays, and unit cards. These components allow you to build your army for both skirmish and regiment formats.
