Armoured Clash: Union Faction Battlegroup - Starter Set

This Starter Set includes everything you need to start playing games of Armoured Clash, leading a valiant force of the Union of Federated States. Their adaptable and well-trained Federal Troopers are supported by specialist fire teams; small units of troopers that can be allocated for any occasion. Whether carrying Rocket Pods, Gatling Guns or composed of UR-31E automata, this addition of firepower can be vital in the battle plans of a Union General. Alongside this flexible infantry, there are also more focused units such as the Pacifier Heavy Troopers. These hardy individuals are veterans of battle, reassigned to more dangerous duties and kitted out with gear perfect for the storming of buildings and other close-range engagements. A particularly aggressive general once had them lead an assault, embarked in a squadron of Lamplighter Flame Tanks and since they proved so murderously effective, the standard blueprints for the Lamplighter now include weapon racks for the Pacifier Blaster. Truly a match made in hell. Additionally, there are Rolling Thunder Tanks, Iron Horse Cavalry, and other devastating units, such as the Moab Thermobaric Mortar. Seen in larger forces, the Lakota Heavy Rail hovers imposingly beside the Union force, a railless train that is capable of carrying scores of troopers in relative safety while laying down withering fire.

The Union are relatively new on the world stage, the Ore War stymieing their efforts until recently. The crucible of that vicious battle has forged them into an expansionist force, willing to do whatever it takes to carve out their piece of the world, no matter who stands in their way. Cries of Manifest Destiny ring out again as they attempt to impose their will on a world already governed by Great Powers. While others see them as pretenders to the throne of global rule, they see themselves as rightful heirs of a decadent and decrepit system.
