Description
Sonderkraftfahrzeug (Sd Kfz), or special purpose vehicle, numbers indicate the role of a vehice rather than its specific type. The first Sd Kfz 231 was the 6-rad, or six-wheeled, version, followed by an eight-wheeled 8-rad model. The Sd Kfz231 (6-rad) is basically mounted on a truck chassis, but it is fitted with a fully rotating turret armed with a 2cm cannon.
