Brandenburgian High Command

The command of the Brandenburg army

was of the good quality. The presence

of the officers with experience from the

Thirty Years War or service in the Polish

army, had a positive influence on the army’s

operations. This can be clearly seen

during the battle of Warsaw, which was

the debut of the Brandenburg field army

and in the battle of Filipów.
